America's National Park Roads and Parkways: Drawings… por Eric DeLony
As a civil engineer and a visitor to National Parks, this book was a natural attraction for me. The book consists of numerous engineering drawings reprinted from original road plans for various parks around the county. Includes bridges and other features. Very large page format (almost 11x17). Nice coffee table book to start discussions with house visitors. At one point I loaned it to a friend and he noted its resale high value he found online.

As in Jeremiah's time, the people of our day, like wandering, thirsty souls in a parched land, have turned their backs on the source of living water (God) and hewn out broken cisterns that do not fill. Broken cisterns contained mud, mire, and squalid water because they could not hold fresh water . . . Jeremiah comparse these broken cisterns to the many idols to which his people had turned. Instead of taking their fill of God (the foundatin of living water), they had abandoned Him and cheated themselves by creating their own gods (broken cisterns).… (más)
