I am a European History major and loved this book, because it's a fascinating read that provides an insightful and important understanding of the American government’s motives for the Iraq war of 2003. I have read other books on the Iraq War, but this one provides a complete picture that brilliantly binds together all the events from Saddam’s assistance to CIA, to the Iraq-Iran War, the weapons USA was selling to Iraq, the WMDs inspectors’ experiences in Iraq...

It is a felony to present false evidence to Congress, and I have always wondered how such an administration got away with this. Every big civilization rises and falls, and my prediction is that if America continues with wars of this kind, it is going to fall hard... I am sure if the American people and Congress had been told the whole truth, America would have never gone to war. This book tells the whole truth.
