Madame Cottin

I remember buying this in a bookshop somewhere near Nailsworth ion the late 1990s. It was scary. It looked like a normal bookshop but when I went in, I was told the books were up in a loft. I had to go up and a ladder and the owners followed me and watched me as I looked around. I couldn't get out quickly enough. I bought this and an Edmond Rostand book which had a playbill inside it. This particular Cottin book is inlaid on the front cover with the inscription `French prize awarded to Mr Robinson by Mons. Dubarle, B.A.'… (más)
