Christopher Cortman

Dr. Christopher Cortman has been a licensed psychologist in Florida for 24 years. He is a much-sought-after speaker, addressing mental health topics with knowledge, humor, and a down-to-earth style that informs and entertains audiences. Dr. Cortman has facilitated more than 50,000 hours of mostrar más psychotherapy and has provided psychological consultation at five hospitals in the Sarasota/Venice area. He also serves as a consultant to government and law enforcement agencies, frequently testifying as an expert witness in civil and criminal courts. Dr. Harold Shinitzky is the recipient of the 2009 Florida Psychological Association Distinguished Psychologist Award and the 2009 FPA Outstanding Contributions to Psychology in the Public Interest Award. He is the national consultant to the Police Athletic Leagues and has been the mental health correspondent for Radio Disney, ABC, and Fox television in Tampa.
