This series continues nicely as the universe expands as does its enemies. Managing Earth as the US President and his new life evolving on Avolene is difficult but supported by his outworldy powers.

This good series continues to flow nicely and sustain its high interest. The universe-building is fast and furious but plausible. The characters are evolving nicely and the hint of using Reverberations as a frame book (a new term for me) is an intriguing prospect. I have been an avid follower of Eric Flint's 1632/Assitti Shards Series since its inception in 2001. It provides an interesting look back at history. A future-forward version could prove fruitful for its authors and their audience.

A good start for an interesting series as omnivorous, large and spacefaring spiders invade the earth.
