{My thoughts} – I am in love with the way in which this book is created. I have reviewed the “Squishy Squashy Unicorn” book in the past. Both my girls really like unicorns and dinosaurs so I was excited to get this book for review. The colors of the cover are bright but soft pastel like tones that are eye catching and appealing for little children. The illustrations and the words within the pages flow with one another nicely. The text is written in a simple and easy to understand poem like fashion. My daughter absolutely loved being able to squish the dinosaur each time the book had pointed out where to squish. I really like that this book helps to teach young children how to identify body parts in a nice and fun fashion. I look forward to sharing more books like this with my daughters in the future.… (más)

{My thoughts} – This is a fun book that is based on the “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” song that most people are familiar with. The cover of the book is done in nice eye appealing soft tones. The text and the illustrations within the book go together hand and hand. The is also a nice little finger puppet spider for your little ones to play with while you are reading or you can play with while reading to them. I really like the way in which this book is made and I look forward to sharing similar books like it with my daughters in the future!… (más)

{My thoughts} – My daughter really loves the dinosaur version of this book. So, of course we had to buy her the Unicorn version as well. This is a nice little seek and find book that allows for you to read a story in rhyme to your child. They then get to look on the page for the objects in which correspond with the rhyme on the bottom of the page. The thing is with this book though you can flip to any set of objects and mismatch the pages, they will all match the seek and find puzzle and you can find all the object in each of the puzzles. I like that about these books. It makes it easy for a child to know that what they are trying to find will be there, no matter what set of objects or what puzzle they are looking at.

The illustrations on the pages go together nicely. I am a real fan of the illustrations in these hooks as well as the authors way of writing them. My daughter really enjoys being able to flip through the pages and find the missing objects on the pages. It is a lot of fun for both of us to spend that quality one on one time together. I really hope that there will be more books released in the series in the future! These are fun books for littles and are greatly enjoyed over and over within my house.… (más)

{My thoughts} – Have you ever wondered what it is that unicorns like? I am sure you have at some point. When I was a child I was an avid collector of all types of unicorn glass figurines. It comes as no surprise to me that my daughter now has a liking for unicorns!

This is a really fun book. It is nice and bright on all the pages. It helps to catch and hold your child’s attention. When you open the book you have the same nice bright colorful illustrations. The text is written in nice and short sentences that are easy to understand.

Upon opening the book you will notice that there is an empty square in the middle of the text. That square is so you can take pieces from the far right and place them there to help create your own story. My daughter absolutely loves this part of the book. She enjoyed taking each piece and moving them to the middle after I’d shown her how and having me read what the story changed to.

I really enjoyed reading this book with her and I know she enjoyed it as well. There were even points in the reading where things we just silly and she started laughing. She’d found the humor in some of the pieces as I was reading the book. I look forward to reading books similar to this one with her in the future!… (más)
