This is a brief study of a spate of executions in 9th century Cordoba, when a group of around 50 Christians were executed, either for denouncing Islam or for apostasy. Coope provides an interesting overview of the incidents, and of the sources which scholars have concerning the event, especially the account written by the priest Eulogius, but this is largely a work of synthesis which seems to offer little new by way of insight or methodology.
