Phillipa Cheifitz

A few basic recipes, all seem to come out ok.

Phillipa is an old family friend, and between my mother and I we have all her cook books. She writes wonderfully clearly, with simple but elegant recipes that burst with flavour. Coming from Capetown myself, but living in London, I am horribly homesick everytime I use this book! The two recipes from this book which I have made over and over again are Flat Roasted Chicken with Lemons and Rosemary, and Green Minestrone.
