Judith Chatfield

This is a coffee table book of the villas found along lakes Como, Garda, and Maggiore in northern Italy replete with pictures and descriptions of the gardens with a short history of the owners. The glory days of these villas has passed since the book was published some twenty years ago and several of the villas are now transformed into suites for sale or rent, luxury hotels, government meeting areas, or schools.
