This was my textbook for Introduction to Microcomputers at Ivy Tech Community College. The book provides how to examples and activities to learn the Office programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access. This book is easy to follow and uses many pictures to help show you exactly what your screen should look like while completing any of the tasks in the book. While I knew that I had many of the skills from previous experience in the office program it wasn't until I took this course that I learned how proficient I could be in the programs and how fun they could be as well. If you have the extra money to get this book and want to learn how to run these programs to work for you you should invest in this book. It will be money well-spent.… (más)
This book is very useful for both beginners and intermediate users of the Microsoft Access product. The step-by-step guides walk the reader through database design, report creation, as well as some more specialized functions.
This book is great for a first-time database creator. It teaches the reader how to create and maintain relational databases in Microsoft Access 2007, offering step-by-step instructions and hands-on exercises to ensure that you really "get" it. The huge number of color screenshots in this book are a plus. I would definitely recommend this book if you want to learn a variety of MS Access functions.
With a down-load starting file gently led thro to the steps to building a simple database. Blinkered and following the set examples, it all works. Organised and addressed as class material with a Tutor to introduce and provide additional support material, not available to lonely book purchasers. Talks big but the 'More About' subject just are not available on-line. How desperate are you to learn about Access 2003?
