This is a good guidebook depicting the estate of the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, Highclere Castle. Known to fans as the iconic Downton Abbey, the estate is given a good overview in this book. Each of the castle's public rooms are shown here, along with a good summary of the major pieces of art. The gardens and grounds are also summarized. A good intro to Highclere.
