I liked Taylor Swift: Music Superstar by Jeff Burlingame for two reasons. First, I liked how Burlingame included a section about Taylor Swift before her fame. Most people know Swift for her fame, but few individuals know about her life before she became a well-known singer. I thought it was interesting how Swift’s grandmother was an opera singer, and her first inspiration. Second, I liked the photographs in the book. The photographs capture Swift’s natural beauty as well as her relationships with family, other celebrities, and fans. Overall, the “big idea” of Taylor Swift: Music Superstar is to inform readers about Taylor Swift’s life and career.… (más)

The story of Kurt Cobain was very interesting, but the sentences warning about the problem of drugs and what the drugs were seemed like something for a children's biography, not a teen biography, since they were so simple.I think those few sentences in the book might just irritate the teens.
