Granted this book came out in 1967 but that doesn't excuse the dis-jointed flow of the book. The author describes the building of a fly and may or may not have an illustration that pertains to what's being discussed. He tells you that he will be building flies by teaching techniques in the order that the tier will need to know them but often falls short or gets distracted altogether. If you need this book to make a collection more complete, fine, otherwise don't bother.
