Dog vs. Strawberry por Nelly Buchet

When a human offers a dog a strawberry, the unexpected occurs. Dog and Strawberry are now in a race! Dog proceeds to wreck the room, knocking over a floor lamp and a tall potted plant, while Strawberry...remains motionless on the floor. The narration is race-announcer style; in the end, Strawberry is squashed flat when the human returns to see what has happened. This did not go where I thought it was going to go! But that's not a bad thing.

Do you have a sibling or a bestest friend? A day's outing of big and little sister had plans but the weather made changes to those plans. Yet a good time was had by all through the changes because they could enjoy each other!
The illustrations by Rachel Katstaller are fun, imaginative, clear, and with brilliant colors.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, and especially to a school or teacher or your public library!
