This is based on the story LOVE IS A MERCILESS GOD by Carissa Andrews within the anthology. Evangeline is an angel sworn to protect Liam. I didn't intend to like Alex. I hated what he did, and I thought what he got was karma for leaving Amelia for Stephanie. But as I saw him figure out who he actually wanted and what he wanted from his life, I found myself charmed by him.

Caleb irritated me slightly, but I do believe that his love for Amelia was sincere. I'm so glad he got a happy ending engineered by Amelia. That was a sweet touch.

Amelia was a great heroine, and I'm so glad that she was willing to follow her heart back to Bookman.… (más)

This series was a very good and often humorous read. There was a continuous link through the book, all the main characters were friends or had interacted in some way. This is the perfect book to take on holiday. The series is 400 pages, but you don't realize that. You get dragged in from the first words and only surface once you read the last story.

I liked all of the characters. It would have been 4 stars, but Chris bothered me though. He seemed forced with his misuse of words.
