REVIEW: “She’d never been a big believer in fairy tales, but today she was claiming her happily-ever-after with her own version of a prince—a hero who wore camouflage and slayed evil beasts with his sniper rifle.” Doubt assailed Black Hawk pilot Kristie as she became involved with another Special Ops guy. Losing her husband two years ago almost did her in. She didn’t think she could risk her heart again. This is a superbly written story of the dedication and sacrifices made by our elite forces and their families. The action, interactions both physical and emotional, and family drama were all believable and fast paced. Overall, an excellent book. I’m looking forward to more from Tracy Brody. This is my voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
