The Perfect Tree has amazing illustrations, with a combination of deep dark colors the reader follows Jack on his journey to find the perfect tree. As we follow Jack along his journey we see that he learns every single tree is valuable, not for its raw materials but because it is a living thing, he eventually abandons his hunt in search of a tree, and embraces the fact that their is beauty in nature. This book could inspire many lesson plans. I would use this book to help students develop characters, teach story elements and talk about the importance of illustrations in story development. This book has a lot to offer readers and I really enjoyed reading it.… (más)
