There is so much going on in this book. The title and the cover - got me interested. It's a good story too, with some interesting mixes: Millionaires, single mother, woman of interest and federal agent (detective), murder, prison escape, mystery, amnesia, love and a HEA.

I adore the little girl - fav character.

I like my romance stories served with a second course of intrigue - actually the two are interchangeable in this book, being equally important. I loved the crime & mystery just as much as the heart throbbing (which wasn't over the top and well executed). It had just the right heat to warm me up in January! I can't wait to read more!

A creep in an airport, a mysterious fire, and threats to an elderly woman. These seem to not have any connection at all and yet they do. I love this story for the way that it uses suspense to hook a reader.

The biggest thing that stood out to me about this story was the character development. They’re all vividly written, especially Rutland. In the beginning of the story, I found him to be a despicable character interested only in himself, and because of this, I kept reading, trying to see if there would be any redemption for him. The story had so many twists and turns that I found myself trapped in the pages, eager to see more.

This is definitely a great read if you’re a fan of thrillers!

When Agent Collins pulls a woman out of the water, he doesn’t know what to think. How did she end up there? Who killed the officer who was found with her? Is she dangerous, or is she in danger? The only one who could answer is Charlotte, and she has no memory of what happened.

I really enjoyed the character development throughout this story. Charlotte and Collins’ relationship really blossomed the more they depended on one another. One Charlotte went in search of her daughter, the story really picked up, and the suspense was great near the end of the book. This is a wonderful read that can be picked up as a standalone or enjoyed in its series.
