Military Police officer Kia Santor's mother always told her to hide her abilities of telepathy and healing, but Kia wants to be able to use them to help others. While on patrol, she discovers an injured man and saves his life. He comes to her with a proposition to join an elite military black ops team where she can use her skills to benefit those in need. Virgil Team is part of that organization called Black Branch. Team leader, Kale Reyes isn't anxious to have another woman on his team after what happened to his sister, but he recognizes an asset when he sees it. His attraction to Kia is inconvenient, but he refuses to care about another woman in his charge.

Virgil Team: The Evolved One Series book 1 shows potential with an interesting plot and characters, however, it is marred with several issues that make the book a frustrating read. Grammatical errors and problems with pacing cry for a good editor to make this the story that it promises to be. Seemingly accurate details in the story speak to the military background of the author, but the romance between the two protagonists is weak and needs more emotion and development. Overall, Virgil Team: The Evolved One Series book 1 may be the opening of a good romantic suspense series, but the author will need to make some changes if the series is to be successful.… (más)
