C. M. Blackwood

Today, I needed a quick read. Something mindless I could fly through. My friend Lamar rated this book with five stars. So I figure, hell a romance and with less than 125 pages. I can read this in two hours. I do not review books for grammar, punctuation, POV, and authors Voice.

However, this is the only redeeming quality of this book. It was very well proofread. On the other hand, Thomas Ghosts in Heaven, I have never seen anyone butcher a case of self-harm and mental illness as bad as C.M. Blackwood did in this book.

Maybe because self-harm and Mental illness is such a delicate subject an something to be taken seriously. But because this story had the potential to be a great romance with a phenomenal message, but the author was lazy. If she would only do some research develop the character arc and invest some time in developing the plot besides the unoriginal she would have had a brilliant book. Spend some more time developing your character arcs, evolving your plot, doing some research on the ideas and wow you would have a strong book, you have potential. As this book is at the moment, I say it is not finished. It was rushed and you missed the mark.… (más)
