Rajesh Bedi

This is basically a book about the photographic adventures of the Bedi brothers in India'a wildlife reserves. It is also an account of the state of wildlife conservation at the turn of the century. The photographs seem to be as taken, with all their imperfections and deficiencies, which gives them an authentic and immediate presence that takes the reader very close to the field experience. The authors (Rajesh is the main photographer, Naresh the writer) apparently took quite some risks, and went into places not tried by photographers before. The section on Ladakh is especially mind-blowing.… (más)
