Exploring 3D Modeling with Maya 6 (Design Exploration) por Patricia Beckmann
Like a lot of books that give students step-by-step instructions for working through an example, students tend to get caught up in *what* they're doing without having any understanding of *why* they're doing it. Combined with a few errors in the instructions and a generally bland content outside the tutorials, I can't recommend.
