Sandra Barnes

I enjoyed this book. It was different from what I normally choose, but I was not sorry I chose it. It is most fitting for a teenager or young adult, and even though I am far from that age group it was still interesting to me. It introduces us to a young girl who makes bad choices. It states a bit about her family but really should have more information on that. That was a little lacking in my personal opinion, but enough information was given to keep you on track. The writing was good, most of the characters were well developed. Again, a little lacking in the family characters but not a big distraction to the story. It flowed well. The one thing I found distracting in the first half of the book was how each characters skin color was described. But, over all this is a book I would recommend.
