This is a great book for people who are just beginning to blog. Michael Banks has picked top bloggers and interviewed them. Each one has given specific responses on what can help you to blog better. There suggestions make a lot of sense and are easy to follow. I would recommend this book to learning bloggers.

I found it to be a fantastic book about the blogging life and how you can be successful at blogging. It is all about the passion of it.

I think this is a good book for me and others who are blogging and are not sure how to determine what's important to write about and how to set the tone. In-depth interviews with some well-known bloggers are well done. I also learned to use a blog aggregate (Bloglines) to read more blogs. One of the main things I learned - write what you're passionate about. Most successful bloggers say it pretty much comes down to that...plus a bit of time and writing ability. Good book - easy to get through; messages come across clearly.

Someone I know posted a malicious review. To compensate, here's one from The Midwest Review of Books:
How To Become A Fulltime Freelance Writer: A Practical Guide To Setting Up A Writing Business At Home by professional author Michael A. Banks is a straightforward and practical guide to earning a living by writing full-time. Individual chapters address the skills and character traits necessary to supporting oneself through writing, financial planning for writers, relationships with agents and editors, sources of extra income, and much, much more in this well-thought-out compendium that should be required reading for all aspiring writers who hope to establish themselves professionally.
