I liked the way the poems started from prediction of the weather with a poem called "My Grandfather's Toe", it was in general just cute and I know it is relateable because people with broken bones can feel the cold coming cause they start aching. Then to the poem 'Firebolt!" was a great description of lightning, which is during the storm. Rounding it out with a poem on "Reflections" to show the end of the storm and that you can see the beauty after the storm. Interesting way to use poems to tell a story. I would have this in my classroom library to inspire students to follow this pattern of writing if they liked to write poems.… (más)
