I would have preferred a more cohesive story rather than a string of concepts expressed in simplistic phrases. The illustrations are appealing, though.

Note: I received a digital galley through NetGalley.

REVIEW:
This books covers the broad topic of water by delving into specific water-related topics, such as the water cycle, water power, water pollution, and climate/weather. The authors discuss and elaborate on these topics using colorful and easy to read infographics. The book contains photographs, drawings, and diagrams that add to the text and message. The book is divided into 7 major themes (Water on Earth, Ups and Downs, Water and Life, Water and People, Water and Energy, Access to Water, Issues and Solutions) with 3-4 subtopics. This makes it easy for students to find what they are looking for. It also contains a glossary at the end, emphasizing important vocabulary words that are used throughout the book, providing students quick and easy access to these words.

GENRE: Non-fiction, informational

MEDIA: photographs, graphs, acrylic (mixed)

USES:
(1) This book could be used to introduce ways to organize ideas in infographics! Students could look at the various ones in this book as a reference, and then create their own on sites such as https://www.easel.ly/, or on paper.
