A factfull and well illustrated account of an organisation all us boys remember from the initials R O D appearing against certain L N E R classes in our Ian Allan's.This book has been such a long time coming,90 years after the end of the war,it is amazing so much is known and so many good photos still exist.Narrow gauge has been well reported but up to now no standard gauge until this.Very good for both military and railway historians.Srongly recommended.
