For her debut novel, Amanda Auler created a poetic masterpiece where two destinies meet. Linked by an old prophecy "One who is all light to stand to the one who is all dark, of which there will be two", the two teenagers make difficult choices that shape them. In the beginning it was unclear to me how their stories were converging. I understood they were living in different parts of Mothmar, but didn’t understand if it was or not the same time period. But everything became clear in the last chapter. Auler’s story is perfectly woven as mystery, love and survival meet.

If you love Fantasy, great world building, family relationships, magic and human-animal bond, Daughter of the Sun will be a great fit for you. I totally enjoyed this wonderfully written novel and cannot wait to read book 2 !… (más)
