Well, this novel has left me a blubbering mess! "This Love: reminded me a little of Jojo Moyes "Me Before You". It is definitely a novel about love, not just the romantic kind but the love between siblings, parents and friends, and I adored both Ben and Sophie.

From the dramatic start of "This Love" to the last page, I was totally invested. It was emotional, tender and touching. A wonderful read.

What a fabulous read. This is the second Dani Atkins book that I have read and I think she has become a go to author for me. This book had me crying and smiling. Essentially the story of a man who loses his wife in a train crash and about the four people who receive the gift of an organ from Lisa the dead wife. It also deals with the son’s inability to accept that his mother is dead, he is only 7. It is also about the possibility of whether or not those organs have memory and I imagine that is why I have seen the book classed a paranormal romance. This aspect of the book fascinated me as my sisters organs were donated and I have always wondered could a little bit of her personality lived on in others. Anyway that’s enough waffling, highly recommend.… (más)

I discovered this novel by accident when I was searching for another book with the word 'million' in its title. "A Million Dreams" was such a wonderful read and it moved me to tears. I could sympathise with both Beth and Izzy and the choices they made. A mistake eight years earlier left them in an agonising dilemma. I was pulled into this novel from the first page and continued to be captured by the story that was unfolding until I reached the end.

"A Million Dreams" was an impressive love story, not in the romantic sense although there was certainly romance throughout the novel, of a mother's love for her child. A fabulous read.… (más)
