Sydney Snail, a plastic figure attached to a track in the book, follows the narrative from page to page as he meets friends and learns colors. It can be annoying to try to read this to a toddler while most of their attention is consumed with ripping Sydney Snail from his track in the book. The action of the figure is not smooth so little fingers cannot move the snail easily.
