Very much like the novel version which I read.

Whatever happens in a rift of the fabric of spacetime stays in the rift of the fabric of spacetime. Interesting story, but more of a sideline in my mind.

In the past I've liked the portrayal of Nova as a young kid thrust into superhero-dom with too much power. This reinvention of the character brings him too close to Green Lantern, in my opinion. Other than that, it's alright -- the writing and art are solid, if not great. This TPB ends with a cliff hanger, though. So if you do enjoy it, your on the hook for the next installment.
