Marvin makes cocktails accessible and breaks down preparation and service in very approachable terms. There's something here for everyone. He sets up the book in months, each month having its own spirit or theme. There are lots of recipes, but also history and discussion of spirits, aromatics and garnishes.
Marvin still works at the Carousel Bar in the Hotel Monteleone and is an expert bartender. I feel privileged to have had several conversations with him and he feels like a friend. I'm happy to now have his wisdom at home!… (más)
