Kermit Alexander

When I saw this title on the shelf of the lending library at our complex, I thought, “Huh, is that the Kermit Alexander who was a sports hero in L.A. when I was young?” Sure enough, it was he. A harrowing story of unimaginable loss, suffering, and luckily eventual healing. I did not know about any of this before. A gripping read for someone like me who grew up in Los Angeles and remember him and other public figures mentioned in this book.
