- Biografía breve
- James Taylor Adams was born 1892 and raised in Alum Cove, Kentucky. He eventually married Dicey Roberts and the two had nine children, including a daughter Peggy Jo who passed away in infancy.
James Taylor Adams' works include a compilation of short stories his grandfather told him during his childhood "Grandpap Told Me Tales" [no longer in print].
He only had a second grade education, but worked to self educate and this hard work paid off, as he wrote, edited and published all of his own work. He owned a general store and a post office in the town of Wise, Virginia.
He passed away in 1954 of unknown causes.

Enjoyed listening to the various stories about the area. Especially liked the Johnnycake Boy.
Author makes you feel like you are right there experiencing the stories yourself.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).
