Our story follows 2 agents, (who happen to be best friends) trying to solve a politically motivated murder and cover-up. The plot was good in its interconnectedness of the characters and sub-plots. However, some elements were unrealistic and/or didn’t make much sense. Similarly, the content of the (sometimes stilted) dialogue was unnatural and odd. It was a relatively short & quick read.

OH, MY WORD! THIS NOVEL IS TOTALLY AWESOME!! I loved that Billy and Pete had been best friends since childhood and they both worked for the New Jersey State Police. Keeping friends for as long as they'd been together is a powerful thing and they trusted each other completely which is remarkable! The author threw many twists, curves, and I could not read the novel fast enough, but I wanted the book to be a tad longer to find out what Pete and his girlfriend, Annie decided to do! I AM NOW A HUGE FAN OF THIS AUTHOR, AND I CAN'T WAIT TO READ MORE!!!… (más)
