Not exactly light summer reading, but a good resource for the QLTS OSCE exams.
In just 56 pages this gem of a book brings to life one of Gardiner's jewels, Johnson Hall. Mr Abbey and Ms Thistle perfectly capture the moods of the eras we move through, offering tantalizing tidbits and brief explanation to help the reader see time perspective. They share with us an array of newspaper and Facebook quotes, and a wonderful number of images, from movie posters to dry goods advertisements.
