It is great to find a good post that somehow I missed, and even better to find a new group. I read Intro Devout Life probably 30 years ago, and I have picked it back up many times since. It is a very good book, and certainly St Francis was brilliant. I also bought his The Catholic Controversy, and I feel strongly I want to read it fully but can't seem to make much progress. I hope to figure out how to join this group, check out these links, and find somebody here who will chat and encourage me.
