Robbi McCoy is a very clever writer, with a solid way with words. I’ve liked all her books so far, and some I’ve loved, especially [b:Something to Believe|8500592|Something to Believe|Robbi McCoy|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1328752830s/8500592.jpg|13366482] and [b:Two on the Aisle|10799400|Two on the Aisle|Robbi McCoy|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1357241456s/10799400.jpg|15712114]. Erased is another win for me. Yet it took me a long time to decide to read it because I’m always wary when it comes to time traveling stories. I’m dyspraxic so time is already a strange concept to me. Add to that the fact that since one has to suspend disbelief to accept the idea of time travel, anything can happen, nothing is impossible nor too crazy. So I need to be in the right mainframe for that. But I read Bethany’s review a few days ago and remembered I had this ebook, and I am so glad I did!

Both main characters are really great, I was really rooting for them and hoping they’d find their way to each other again, and that Dani would survive the whole thing. It’s sci-fi (but only because of the time travel) mixed with mystery (mostly) and romance (of course). Very well done.

Stef is new in Stillwater. She's running away from something or herself or both (what that is we slowly get to know as the novel goes on). She's bought a houseboat to live on, only problem, it's currently on land and in disrepair. She also has Deuce, a Golden Retriever. He's not why she meets Jackie, who's the Vet in town, but, he's definitely why Jackie starts thinking that maybe Stef isn't just a bitch with a chip on her shoulder.

They slowly get closer and closer, but, Stef doesn't just have baggage, she has a whole baggage claim (and rightly so), and so there are some hurdles in her and Jackie's journey towards each other.

I liked the secondary characters a lot (Well, maybe not Niko's bad jokes). And I also very much liked how we were introduced to who's related to whom at the beginning of the novel. It was subtle and cool.

It wasn't a flashy novel, although it did have a momentary mystery which was cool. A fun novel.
