Carlomagno por Harold Lamb
Novela histórica planteada más como un ensayo en bastantes partes del libro, que como una novela propiamente dicha. Puebla el texto con referencias bibliográficas sutilmente con lo que lo enriquece de manera muy interesante. Las descripciones de Carlomagno son muy buenas, así como de algunos de sus coétaneos como Alcuino. Obra interesante.

Un relato que abarca los hechos políticos y las bases mitológicas sobre las que se asentó el imperio persa; el surgimiento de las ciudades griegas; las lealtades y los amores de un personaje que ostentó el máximo poder de su tiempo.
