For all that this is a Murdoch work-for-hire cookbook that was designed to appear on bargain tables, it's actually a very good little collection of French standards with clear directions and a reasonable selection of dishes. It is my standard reference for several recipes, including pots de crème and Vichy Carrots.
Useful for owners of Kitchen Aid and other stand mixers, supplements the manuals nicely.
