Quick impressions. Great photography. Some of the comments by people who knew and worked with him were good. The rest of the notes gathered from social media just get a bit much at times. Some are moving, but overall they get repetitive. As I said, the highlight of the book is really the photography.

And like so many others, I do miss the man who showed us so much.

This is a memorial book that collects quotes from both the famous and the unknown about Bourdain. All the photos are from his later episodes and they work well with the quotes used in the book. It was a sad reminder of what the world has lost when he decided to leave.

Gone too soon, great book.

This is a beautiful look at the impact chef and travel editor Anthony Bourdain had on both the famous and the common person in the world. His death by suicide was truly a tragedy, but I do like to think that somewhere, somehow, he is aware of his legacy and knows that he did so much good for this world by helping to make us all aware that we have more in common than things that divide us. This is the second book I have read from CNN. Both are of high quality and simply a joy to read.
