With just over 70% of the 88 books I've reviewed so far this belonging to nonfiction Christian book genre, I've become quite astute in reading/reviewing them.
Of all the books belong to the Old Testament, the Book of Isaiah has to be the most influential one that Jesus himself had to have read. With this being the case, any author that is wishing to dwell into the prophetic nuances of Isaiah's powerful words, words which the Lord himself came to quote many times during His brief time here on Earth, can't just cut to the chase to give readers a quick overview.
The refusal of the book's author, David Armstrong, to take this easy pathway out in compiling this masterful bible study book for the Book of Isaiah, is highly commendable since this book isn't a simple overview, it's a painstaking line by line examination of the book. Each line is fraught with details that will give readers enlightenment as to the meaning of what has gotten written by Isaiah.
Author Armstrong further adds to the beauty of Isaiah's words by his impressions and experiences as he wrote this book. This book is a must-have for any serious devotee or student of the bible, which is why as the voracious reviewer of nonfiction Christian that I am, I'm happy to give author David Armstrong the 5 STARS that I've given him.… (más)
