Pooh's Happy Halloween (Random House Pictureback) por Ann Braybrooks

Piglet's scared of Halloween, but Pooh talks him into sharing a totem pole costume so they can trick-or-treat together. It gets repetitive as they keep meeting scary figures that turn out to be their friends.

This was originally published in 1997 as a Little Golden Book entitled "Trick or Treat!" I own the 2001 Pictureback edition with the new title of "Pooh's Happy Halloween." The words are exactly the same as the original edition but some of the illustrations have been cropped and flipped, so be sure to get the original edition if you want the full picture.

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. Owl's World (Disney's Out & About With Pooh: A Grow… por Ronald Kidd

Once again, Piglet is scared of noises he hears in the dark of night. He runs to Pooh, who leads him to Owl, who spends the rest of the night introducing the pair to the nocturnal creatures of the Hundred-Acre Wood. It's not bad, but there is a reason the Pooh friends always start to tune Owl out, fall asleep, or creep away as he gives his ponderous lectures.

Rain, Rain, Come Again (Disney's Out & About With… por Ann Braybrooks

Pooh has a day of exploration planned with Piglet, Roo and Eeyore. They're worried that rain might derail everything, but they figure out how to have fun with the mud and puddles.

It's not bad, actually, but it just didn't really grab me. Maybe more original humor and less earnestness would have helped.

A Wonderful Wind (Disney's Out & About With Pooh: A… por Ann Braybrooks

A windy day has Piglet all up in his PTSD as he flashes back to a previous day when the wind whisked him far into the air while he was holding a balloon. But Pooh takes him round the Hundred-Acre Wood meeting all their friends one-by-one, with each one giving an example of why wind is good, all before a book-ending party of course.
