The author chose animals that were almost the same in spelling in both English and Spanish. It has both words in the same page. It even adds animals for the LL RR and N in the Spanish alphabet. This would be great from a pre-K or Kinder bilingual classroom. Some of the animals that was chosen I do not think students would know about. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This is an amazing little bilingual ABC using Oaxacan alebrijes for all the illustrations. The authors selected animals that start with the same letter in English and Spanish ("the flamingo / el flamenco; the lion / el leon"), and do include the letters that exist in Spanish and not in English. If you are raising a bilingual child or have any interest in the Spanish language or alebrijes (we have a few), this is definitely worth picking up for the kid.
