I especially found his discussion of implicit memories illuminating. That said, every time he would connect neurology to scripture or faith, I just had trouble going along. Maybe it was that a lot of those discussions seemed to lean too heavily on assumption. I'm not sure, to be honest. I just know I found myself giving a lot of side-eye to those sections. The structure was problematic as well. There was a lot of jumping around and mentions of what was to come further in the book (and some of those promises went unfulfilled). In the end, I am glad I read it, but would only recommend it with a large grain of salt. ( ) Do you want to improve your relationships and experience lasting personal change?
