 Both commentaries provide readable and conservative expositions of these two neglected books. The explanations are of consistently high quality, though they are not always where one might expect to find them (e.g. Estes's treatment of the change in speaker at Song 1:11, appearing in the "Comment" section rather than the "Form, structure and setting" section).
