Adversity Grade Level: 3rd grade and up This book is about two cavemen who are timing back and forth through time. Throughout the book they meet dinosaurs, fight crime, and manage to learn kung-fu. This book does a good job explaining scientific facts in child friendly language (literally). The information is correct but some of the spelling is not correct, but it is spelled the way most kids attempt to spell the words they do not know. For example, in the book they use the word "fortunately" but the boys spelled it "forchenately". I would try to incorporate this book into history lesson but it could also be used for spelling lessons as well because there are plenty of misspellings. In this story written by George and Harold we go into the past and the future where to Cavemen learn Kung fu so they can save their friends from the Goppernopper family. Funny but also gross out and again with the bad spelling....also found the speaking like a caveman funny but also bad from an educational stand point... sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
