Rachel doesn't lose the guinea pig baby until nearly the end of the book, after her parents let her keep it. Most of the book is about Rachel trying to learn how to care for animals and convince her father to let her keep one. And no offense, but if I was her parent I wouldn't. She proves her irresponsibility around animals more then once, and each time it's serious enough to potentially threaten the animal's life! Letting a post-op dog run away, risking infections by putting two recovering dogs in the same cage, putting a baby guinea pig in the trunk of a junk-car.... She is obviously doesn't have the common-sense and responsibility to have a pet! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Mandy asks Rachel to look after a neighbour's guinea pig. Rachel is thrilled. She always wanted a pet and, if her parents see how good she is with this one, they may let her have a pet of her own. Then Rachel loses one of the guinea-pig's babies. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
