The Sexty text is designed to provide a broad overview of the Canadian business system and its interrelationships with society. The aim is to provide a background on the business system that will enable students to analyze the challenges confronting businesses and managers in a conceptual and theoretical context. The text is indigenous, current and extensive. It has a unique approach to concept coverage, i.e. the concepts introduced provide a basis for discussion of current issues in the context of the concepts. The book is written from the perspective of business and managers as they are the ones having to cope with ethical, social and environmental issues (the triple 'e'). The text adopts the "business and society" approach to business ethics which is the dominant approach used in business schools. This includes the stakeholder concept, management issues, corporate social responsibility, managing ethics, etc. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
