NCLA Review - Alisa is terrified. Kurt, her youngest son, may be a suspect in a crime committed shortly before he checked himself into rehab for a drug addiction. In a phone conversation during his stay in rehab, he confided in her that he had found a healing faith—a hope that Alisa had given up on. She sees that Kurt is different now. He has changed and deserves a second chance. The detective on the murder case wants to question Kurt, but Alisa will not tell him where Kurt is working. Then Alisa finds something that makes her worry even more about the possibility of Kurt’s involvement. Alisa finds herself facing an impossible choice: keep silent and keep her son…or risk everything in a quest for the truth.
